Inlandia’s Tesoros de Cuentos bilingual creative writing workshop is back! This fall, the “Viva Abuelita Power” theme will give voice to the wisdom, knowledge, and power of the Grandmother. Through writing exercises, participants will unravel from their hearts and memories personal experiences and/or stories of the abuelitas in their lives — chronicling a treasure trove of sweet and savory recollections.

Tesoros Motto: Las palabras vuelan; los escritos quedan — Words fly; writings endure.

Frances J. Vásquez is a native Inlandian of immigrant parents from México. She attended local schools and earned BS and MBA degrees from UC Riverside. An aficionada of arts and letters, she loves cultural events and served as a guide at Riverside Art Museum. She is director Emerita of the Inlandia institute.
