Book Talk and Launch of Riverside Women Creating Change - Stories and Inspiration 1:00-3:00 PM Civil Rights Institute of Inland Southern California 3933 Mission Inn Avenue Suite 103, Riverside, CA 92501 On Sunday, September 15, please join Inlandia Institute for the launch of Riverside Women Creating Change - Stories and Inspiration. Reluctant activists: Throughout Riverside's history, women have been at the forefront of community activism, but few have adopted that label. Instead, they were women simply doing what they knew was right. They were grassroots preservationists, speaking out and speaking up. They were building peace. Protecting our environment. Fighting erasure, fighting for the right to love who they love, fighting for the health of children, for their right to an education. Wherever there is change you will find women, often working behind the scenes, below the surface. Are you or are you not an activist? Are you sure? If you would like to be, you are. Join us.
