    Artists Reception at Chaffey College

    Tuesday, September 27, 2022

Featuring Adam Martinez, author of Remyth

Winner of 2019 Hillary Gravendyk Prize for Poetry

    4:00-7:00 PM

Free and open to the public.

Join Inlandia Institute on Tuesday, September 27, for an artist’s reception at Wignall Museum at Chaffey College (Rancho Cucamonga campus) to celebrate the opening of their fall exhibition. Adam Martinez, author of Hillary Gravendyk Prize winner, Remyth, will be on hand to share his work as part of the program.

Hillary Gravendyk Poetry Prize-winner Remyth: A Postmodernist Ritual, is the first book by local author Adam D. Martinez.

Remyth is a baptism and an exorcism. It's Hip-Hop and Punk. It’s high art meeting low art at the church altar. It’s a Works Cited page meeting with a ruthless remix culture unwilling to claim ownership and more than willing to take what it needs to make meaning.
