Workshops are free. All are welcome.

This month, three “Writing About Black Art” workshops (May 7, 14, and 21) will explore writing about Black art from a psychoanalytical perspective, with specific attention devoted to how theories related to Black psychology correlate to Black art. Through class lectures, Zoom discussion groups, and homework exercises, participants will become familiar with African American artists whose work connects to issues related to Black psychology.
