7:00 pm: ARTS WALK: THOMAS DE LA CAL7:00 pm: ARTS WALK: THOMAS DE LA CAL On Thursday March 3, 2016, at 7 pm, please join the Inlandia Institute as we welcome Thomas de la Cal as he presents for his memoir, Spanish Son, de la Cal's homage to Spain: first seen through the eyes of an impressionable American boy living under the iron grip of Franco, later as a foreign correspondent covering the euphoria of the young democracy in the 80s, and finally as a film festival agent sharing his secret watering holes with Hollywood's elite. This event is FREE and open to the public. Reading and discussion followed by light refreshments and book signing. |

This ancient story has been popular in Japan for more than 1,500 years. You'll also be treated to Karen's critically acclaimed rendition of "He's in the Deep Sea Now," which has caused some audience members to be irresistibly drawn up onto the stage.
