7:00 pm: National Deaf History AND Poetry Month Double Feature: Meg Day and Ryan Fingerle7:00 pm: National Deaf History AND Poetry Month Double Feature: Meg Day and Ryan Fingerle – On Thursday, April 1, at 7:00 PM, Inlandia at Home + Virtual Arts Walk with Riverside Public Library will be celebrating National Deaf History – and Poetry! – Month with a very special poetry event featuring nationally acclaimed poet Meg Day and local poet and Riverside City College MUSE editor Ryan Fingerle. The winners of the National ASL Story Signing contest from Riverside’s California School for the Deaf will also be ‘taking the stage’ to share their work! Don’t miss it! The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A. ASL interpreters and closed captioning will be available.
