March 1, 2021 – March 31, 2021ONE COMMUNITY, MANY VOICES:
A community read and discussion project spanning two years and two books and celebrating the voices of queer writers of color who live or work in – or write about – the Inland Southern California region. The project launched last fall with There Should be Flowers by Joshua Jennifer Espinoza, and continues this spring with Still Water Saints by Inland Empire writer Alex Espinoza.
FREE copies of Still Water Saints will be available throughout the month of March from the following library partners (while supplies last):
- Riverside Public Library System (all branches except Main)
- Riverside County Library System (Sun City, Palm Desert, La Quinta, Robidoux)
- San Bernardino Public Library (Rowe, Villaseñor, Inghram, and Feldheym)

April 1, 2021On Thursday, April 1, at 7:00 PM, Inlandia at Home + Virtual Arts Walk with Riverside Public Library will be celebrating National Deaf History – and Poetry! – Month with a very special poetry event featuring nationally acclaimed poet Meg Day and local poet and Riverside City College MUSE editor Ryan Fingerle. The winners of the National ASL Story Signing contest from Riverside’s California School for the Deaf will also be ‘taking the stage’ to share their work! Don’t miss it!
The presentation will be followed by a moderated discussion and audience Q&A. ASL interpreters and closed captioning will be available.
