We’ve all been there: read a children’s book and thought, I could have written that! Not so fast! Is it really that easy? At 6:30 PM on Thursday, September 1, ask a panel of children’s book authors Vilayvanh Bender, José Chávez, James Luna, Isabel Quintero, and James Woods what it really takes to write and publish a book for young people. Inlandia at Arts Walk, Riverside Main Library, downtown. Learn the whys and wherefores of publishing for kids, and hear firsthand the joys— and challenges— of the writing process.
