    On April 9 at 10:00 AM, join Riverside for a unique self-guided driving tour inVISIBLE/unHEARD: Riverside’s Civil Rights Stories, which focuses on the journey from invisibility to visibility for those who have suffered racism and other forms of discrimination.

    Participating organizations include City of Riverside, Museum of Riverside, Fox Performing Arts Center, Spanish Town Heritage Foundation, Center for Social Justice and Civil Liberties, Empower You Edutainment, and Inlandia Institute.

    On April 14, join UCR Arts and Inlandia Institute at the Barbara and Art Culver Center of the Arts and discover Susan Straight’s Mecca. In Michael Connelly’s words, Mecca “a masterpiece.” Viet Thanh Nguyen calls it “a heartbreaker from beginning to end.” Joining her in conversation will be her longtime collaborator and friend, acclaimed photographer and senior curator at the California Museum of Photography, Douglas McCulloh (Facing Fire; In the Sunshine of Neglect; The Great Picture). Doors open at 6:00 PM.
