The program runs from 1:00-3:00 PM, with doors opening at 12:30. The Riverside Resistance Revival Chorus will be on hand to perform, and CRIISC’s Homegrown Heroes exhibit—of which there is considerable overlap—will be open to our guests. Light refreshments will be served. We hope to see you there! Reluctant activists: Throughout Riverside's history, women have been at the forefront of community activism, but few have adopted that label. Instead, they were women simply doing what they knew was right. They were grassroots preservationists, speaking out and speaking up. They were building peace. Protecting our environment. Ryan teaches English at Riverside City College, and her passion is helping adult students and their families enjoy the merits of both ASL and the English language.
